Matt Kripke (2031)

Matt Kripke was appointed to The University of Toledo Board of Trustees by Ohio Governor Mike Dewine in October 2025.
Kripke is the Chief Executive Officer of Kripke Enterprises, Inc., a non-ferrous metal brokerage business specializing in aluminum. The family metal recycling business, which Kripke joined in 1994 following a five-year career with Vector Marketing, has grown into a large enterprise with more than 70 employees. Headquartered in Toledo, the company also has locations in Coconut Creek, Florida, and Jackson, Tennessee.
Active with the UToledo Family Business Center and serving on its advisory board, Kripke was honored with its Doing Right Spotlight in 2023 for going above and beyond to support his employees, give back to the community and uphold the highest standards of integrity. He was also recognized with the 2025 Business Pacemaker Award from UToledo’s John B. and Lillian E. Neff College of Business and Innovation.
Kripke has served on numerous nonprofit leadership and trade association boards throughout his career. He currently serves on the boards of Signature Bank and the Toledo Jewish Community Foundation.
Kripke is a graduate of the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. He has been happily married to his wife Jill for over 30 years. Together they have three children.
