UToledo Corporate Education Partnership

UToledo's Corporate Education Partnership program helps employers invest in their workforce by providing eligible employees with access to a 10% tuition scholarship. This benefit can help employees begin, continue, or complete their education at The University of Toledo, supporting their professional growth, career advancement and long-term success. Even better, the University is excited to offer this partnership at no cost to interested employers.

Current Employee of a Corporate Partner?

You may be eligible for a 10% tuition scholarship through your employer's participation in the UToledo Corporate Education Partnership.  

Corporate partner employees must:

  • Be a student in good standing; eligible to register for credits to receive and to continue to receive any scholarship.
  • Attend classes on campus or online at The University of Toledo.
  • Comply with admissions, continuation, and other criteria applicable to the particular college, department, program, unit or degree course, and all other University policies and procedures in order to receive and maintain the scholarship benefit provided by The University of Toledo.

To receive your 10% scholarship:

Send your request for the Corporate Education Partnership scholarship each semester by emailing Barbara Kopp Miller (barbara.koppmiller@utoledo.edu) and Tyna Derhay (tyna.derhay@utoledo.edu) with the following information:

  1. Your Rocket number.
  2. Your UToledo email address.
  3. Your major.
  4. The semester for which you are applying.
  5. Your currently enrolled courses.
  6. Verification (screenshot from your account) of your good academic standing.
  7. Verification (screenshot from your account) that you have received your bill.
  8. Where you are employed.
  9. Current scholarships that you are receiving.

Please note that your employment with a corporate partner will be verified as part of this process.

The degrees of bachelor of science in nursing, RN to BSN, doctor of medicine, juris doctor, and doctor of pharmacy are not eligible for the Corporate Education Partnership tuition scholarship. 

The 10% Corporate Education Partnership tuition scholarship cannot be combined with other scholarships awarded by the University. You have the flexibility to choose your current scholarship or the 10% tuition scholarship, whichever offers you the greatest benefit.
