Office of New Student Orientation Programs

UToledo Continuing CCP Students

Orientation is required for all new students at the University of Toledo. This includes current College Credit Plus students who are enrolled at the University of Toledo who are looking to enroll as degree-seeking students after graduating high school.

All students are required to attend orientation before registering for classes. However, select UToledo College Credit Plus students may register for courses prior to orientation if they meet all of the following criteria:

  • Completed at least 30 credit hours at UToledo. In progress credits or credits taken at another college or university will not count towards this number.
  • Earned at least a 3.5 GPA at UToledo
  • Paid your enrollment deposit (step two on your New Student tab in your myUT portal)
  • Registered for Rocket Launch orientation
  • Completed online modules (open March 1, 2024)
  • Met with an academic advisor

If you meet the credit and GPA criteria, email orientation@utoledo.edu with your name, Rocket number and an explanation of your situation to request access to the modules. Once we confirm you meet the criteria and your modules are completed, you will be able to meet with an advisor and register for classes.

You must still attend a Rocket Launch orientation in the summer and are still required to pay your orientation fee. Failure to attend may result in delays in registration for future terms.
