Overview
If you’re passionate about working with children and families, the Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (PPCNP) Graduate Certificate can help you take the next step. This program is designed for nurses with an MSN or DNP who want to specialize in pediatric primary care.
Graduates are eligible to sit for certification through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB).

- Three semesters, part-time
- Clinical courses offered every other year
- 20 credit hours

Prerequisites
- Advanced Physiology & Pathophysiology (3 credit hours)
- Advanced Pharmacotherapeutics(3 credit hours)
- Advanced Health Assessment (3 credit hours)
- Diagnostic Reasoning (1 credit hours)
*Pediatric Nurse Practitioner students will be required to complete pediatric pathophysiology, pediatric assessment, and pediatric pharmacology before beginning their clinicals
