Anthropology Bachelor of Arts

A major in anthropology consists of a minimum of 33 hours of coursework: 21 hours of core courses in anthropology and an additional 12 hours of elective courses at the 2900-4000 level in anthropology. Also required are 18 hours of related course work in other fields. Click for more info.

Anthropology Undergraduate Minor

To complete a minor in Anthropology, students must complete a minimum of 21 hours of course work-15 hours of core courses in Anthropology and an additional 6 hours of advanced course work at the 2900 to 4000 level in Anthropology. Click for more info.

The Department of Sociology and Anthropology is part of the University of Toledo's PhD Program in Spatially Integrated Social Science. This program is designed around the application of geographic information science, spatial statistics, spatial econometrics and spatial analysis to study the spatial dimension of human and social dynamics, including interaction of individuals and society, government, and market participants.
