Energy Management at UT is responsible for the following:

• Operation of the natural gas power plant on Main Campus
• Operation of the coal power plant on Health Science Campus
• Operation of the HVAC systems for efficiency
• Utility purchases (electric, natural gas, fuel, oil, and water)
• Energy audits
• Renovations to improve efficiency
• LEED certification and commissioning
• Energy Reporting to the Ohio Board of Regents (HB251)
