Alli '13 wins  American Judges Association Essay Competition

Remi Alli ’13 has been named the winner of the 2013 American Judges Association (AJA) Annual Law Student Essay Competition.

Her article, "The Psychology behind Trafficking Laws: The Paternalistic/Sexist Undertones that Lie Beneath the Laws", was honored with the first place prize. Alli received a $3,000 cash prize. 

The AJA annual essay competition is open to all full-time law students enrolled in and attending an accredited law school in the United States or Canada. This year’s topic was “Comparing Hearsay Rules in Different Courts.”
