Our unique, two-year master’s program offers courses in both Pharmacology and Toxicology. Students learn:

UToledo’s graduate students in the M.S.P.S. Pharmacology/Toxicology program collaborate with faculty to discover new drugs and test drugs. UToledo has academic and research partnerships with universities around the world.

• Neuropharmacology and molecular pharmacology of drugs of abuse 
• Neuropharmacology in neurodegenerative diseases

Our master’s degree students are required to complete a thesis that includes the collection, analysis and discussion of data. Most students publish their data in peer-reviewed journals.
