Scholarships: Continuing Students

Continuing Student Scholarships

These scholarships are based on financial need and/or academic merit. Merit-based scholarships are based on GPA in economics courses and/or overall University GPA. The amount of these renewable awards changes each year.

Examples of Scholarships Available to UToledo Economics Students

African Institute For Economic Education

Scholarship to provide funds for living expenses for African students pursuing a degree in Economics.

Betty J. Lapp Memorial Fund

Scholarship awarded to a freshman who has completed one semester, or a sophomore, in the College of Arts and Letters, with preference given to those majoring in history, economics, or political science.

Edward Shapiro Economics Scholarship

Scholarship awarded to students in the College of Arts and Letters majoring in Economics. Recipients shall be selected based on merit.

Fifth Third Bank/Willa Dean Stills Minority Scholarship

Scholarship awarded to students enrolled in The University of Toledo. Preference will be given to students in the College of Business and Innovation or majors in Finance, Business or Economics.
