Undergraduate Programs: Economics Minor

The economics minor requires a minimum of 18 credit hours.

Economics minors are required to take the following three courses (9 credit hours):

Economics Courses (or their equivalent)
1) Econ 1150 Principles of Macroeconomics
2) Econ 1200 Principles of Microeconomics
3) Econ 3150 Intermediate Macroeconomic Theory*
* or Econ 3200 (Intermediate Microeconomic Theory) or another macro or micro course chosen with the consent of the undergraduate advisor
   
Then economics minors can choose any three other courses that we offer (9 additional credit hours) at the 2000 to 4000 levels, chosen in consultation with the undergraduate advisor. No more than three hours of ECON 4910 or 4920 may be included in the nine hours of additional course work.
