Bashar Al-HaririBashar Al Hariri (BA in English- Damascus University, MA in English Literature and Criticism-Yarmouk University, MA in ESL- University of Toledo) is an assistant lecturer of English at the University of Toledo, where he teaches ESL composition and linguistics classes. He has been an active member with the TESOL International Association in various capacities. He currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Social Responsibility Interest Section (SRIS) 2022/2023. He was the the TESOL award Co-coordinator for the Meral Güçeri TESOL/TEFL Travel Grant 2021-2022,  the Social Responsibility Interest Section Co-Chair Elect 2021/2022, a reviewer for the Ruth Crymes TESOL Academies Fellowships 2019/2020 among many other roles. Bashar has also participated  at the TESOL International Convention & English Language Expo as a presenter, invited panelist, and a panel moderator. His research interests include refugee and adult education, ESL writing, and identity in second language learning.
