Piano

Scott began his college studies in 2010 at Philadelphia Biblical University studying under Dr. Samuel Hsu. He was mentored by his music theory professor, Mr. Timothy Shaw. In the Fall of 2012, he transferred to the University of Toledo and the studio of Dr. Michael Boyd. While at UT, Scott has enjoyed accompanying several of his fellow students and has completed the requirements to graduate with departmental honors. He also became a member of Mu Phi Epsilon and served a term as the UT chapter’s president. Outside of the University, Scott has played for several local musicals and performances. He also met and continues to play for Mr. Thom Sneed for choral concerts at Clay High School.

I am very grateful to the many faculty and students who have helped me during this journey. 

Thank you to my early piano instructor, Mrs. Dee Sholl, for preparing me for college and offering encouragement. Thank you to Ms. Frances Renzi for her kind guidance. Sincere gratitude to Dr. David Jex and Dr. Lee Heritage for their beneficial classes and generously sitting on the faculty of this recital. Thank you to Ms. Lisa Twining for coaching my preparation. A very special thanks to my piano professor, Dr. Michael Boyd, who has taught me with great patience, wisdom and care. I have so enjoyed being in his studio.

A heartfelt thank you to Mom and Dad for their unwavering love and support,                             as well as my family and friends who have been with me every step of the way.                                                        I could not have done this without you.

Finally, I am thankful to the Lord Jesus Christ for His kind daily mercies and unfailing love. Great is His faithfulness!
