UT Saxophone Choir Ensemble

UToledo Saxophone Choir performing in concert

The UT Saxophone Choir Ensemble is open to all saxophone majors as well as select non-major saxophonists, by approval of the instructor. Rehearsals are arranged to fit within the participating students’ schedules, meeting once per week. Typically two performances per semester will be arranged.

Repertoire is chosen based upon the needs and experiences of participants, but a wide range of styles are explored in duo, trio, standard classical saxophone quartet, and saxophone choir settings. Participating students are expected to prepare his/her music to a level that is befitting of the ensemble, and students are expected to meet outside of the weekly instructor-led (coaching) session at least one additional time per week.
