I came to Eberly Center for Women in Spring 2001 as an executive on loan volunteer
from General Mills. The 2 and ½
years I spent at ECW were very rewarding to me. As a woman who has experienced domestic
violence, I felt a great need to encourage other women to
believe in themselves, become independent and accomplished through education, employment
and self-sufficiency. No other opportunity in my life has
given me more pride.
