FEDEX – SHIPPING SERVICES

FedEx is the preferred supplier for UToledo for the categories of inbound and outbound shipping.  The contract is provided to UToledo via the Inter-University Council (IUC).  FedEx Ohio-IUC rates are amongst the most competitive available in order to provide cost savings for UToledo.  To ensure prompt payment of invoices, employees should link their P-Card to their FedEx account.    Helpful information regarding the usage of your FedEx account is shown below:

CREATING AN ACCOUNT

  • To Create a New Account fill out the New Account Form 
    • NOTE:  Processing will take approximately 4 to 7 business days.
  • To verify that your account has been linked to UToledo’s preferred FedEx rates through the IUC contact Todd Osborne Miller, Account Executive at  Todd.osborn@fedex.com.

 SHIPPING AND TRACKING PACKAGES

  • Be sure to appropriately label your packages!  They may not be invoiced correctly or delivered to the correct location without a label. 
  • Drop your items off at an appropriate FedEx drop box/shipping location.  All packages dropped off at either a FedEx Drop Box address or the Shipping and Receiving dock at UTMC MUST have an appropriate label!
  • To request a desk top pickup, chose this option when you create your label. Be sure to use your physical address for your on-campus location so that the person picking up your package will know exactly where you are.
