Candidate Quality, Recruitment, and Selectivity
Selection Criteria – The JHCOE admits candidates into professional programs who have the ability to meet high academic standards. The College does not use a single measure to determine admission, but requires potential candidates to meet a variety of measures. Admitted candidates at the undergraduate and graduate levels represent a highly qualified pool of individuals. ACT scores rank above the 50th percentile and the average GPA at the time of admission and at completion is consistently above 3.0.
Licensure Exam Results – Candidates are required by the state of Ohio to pass the Pearson Ohio Assessments for Educators for licensure.
