Dr. Debra Brace
ASSOCIATE Professor, Higher Education
Dr. Debra Brace is an Associate Professor in the Judith College of Education where she serves in the Department of Educational Studies at The University of Toledo. She received her Ph.D. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Indiana University in 2004. Dr. Brace teaches courses in student development, curriculum, research inquiry, counseling, and organization and management of student affairs. Previously, she taught as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Higher Education and College Personnel at the University of Southern Mississippi and prior to that was a Research Fellow in the Center for Inquiry in the Liberal Arts at Wabash College. Debra’s main research interests are in the areas of student development and well-being, and issues related to effective teaching and learning.
