CONTACT JHCOE ADVISING

The faculty and staff of the Judith Herb College of Education (JHCOE) are now working remotely. We will need to direct all advising inquiries through our JHCOEadvising general email account – JHCOEAdvising@UToledo.edu  Please do not email advisors directly as this can often lead to duplication and we want to be able to respond as soon as possible. Our remote office hours are 8:15 am - 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday.

For answers to your academic advising questions, email us at JHCOEAdvising@UToledo.edu and include your (a) Rocket ID number and (b) a phone number where we can reach you. You may direct the email to a specific advisor within the email and we will try to adhere to your wishes as much as possible. You WILL receive a response ASAP. Here are some examples of common questions:

  • A request to schedule a phone advising appointment
  • A list of classes you may register for – summer and/or fall terms
  • A registration override/permit for an approved course
  • A question concerning graduation requirements
  • You want to declare or change your major or minor

How to access

During this time, our advisors are using various platforms.  This is up to you and your advisor to choose what modality fits your needs best.  Phone and video appointments- WebEx, Skype, and Zoom- have been most popular.
