The COVID-19 crisis is a rapidly evolving situation. Providing quality services to you within the increasing restraints continues to be our utmost goal along with doing our best to ensure everyone’s safety. CONTACT JHCOE ADVISING
The staff of the Judith Herb College of Education (JHCOE) are now working on campus. Most advising appointment are being conducted virtually. Please direct all advising inquiries through our JHCOEadvising general email account – JHCOEAdvising@UToledo.edu Please do not email advisors directly as this can often lead to duplication and we want to be able to respond as soon as possible. You can also call us at 419.530.2495. Our office hours are 8:15 am - 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
For answers to your academic advising questions, email us at JHCOEAdvising@UToledo.edu and include your (a) Rocket ID number and (b) a phone number where we can reach you. You may direct the email to a specific advisor within the email and we will try to adhere to your wishes as much as possible. You WILL receive a response ASAP. Here are some examples of common questions:
- A request to schedule a phone advising appointment
- A list of classes you may register for – summer and/or fall terms
- A registration override/permit for an approved course
- A question concerning graduation requirements
- You want to declare or change your major or minor
How to access
During this time, our advisors are using various platforms. This is up to you and your advisor to choose what modality fits your needs best. Phone and video appointments- WebEx, Skype, and Zoom- have been most popular.
*NEW AND TRANSFER STUDENTS
New students and transfer students must be admitted to the University of Toledo to
schedule an appointment with an advisor. Prospective students should schedule an informational
