Interfacial Thermal and Transport Lab
Research Focus
At the Interfacial Thermal and Transport Lab, researchers strive to capitalize on
phase transitions at interfaces to design sustainable systems.
Research related ACTIVITIES
Research-related activities span using self-assembly, electrochemical deposition processes, dip and spin coating methods to the development of methodologies and techniques for the characterization of the properties and performance of micro- and nanoscale materials for their applications in medicine, the chemical separations industry, and sensing technologies.
Dissemination activities include
- Publishing in high-quality peer-reviewed journals
- Presentation of work at regional and national conferences
- Outreach to K-12 students and teachers for hands-on learning experiences
