Bio
Alison Matson, PT, D.P.T., NCS, received her Bachelors in Pre Physical Therapy from Bowling Green State University, then continued on to receive her MSBS in Physical Therapy from the Medical College of Ohio. She is a licensed physical therapist by the State of Ohio, and is Board Certified as a Neurologic Physical Therapy Clinical Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Education and Neurologic Section of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Ohio Physical Therapy Association.
Dr. Matson’s clinical interests include: evaluation and treatment of patients with vestibular dysfunction, concussion and variety of other neurologic conditions.
Dr. Matson’s teaching responsibilities include Practice Management, Professional Issues and assisting in Neuro Rehab and Clinical Seminar 2.
As the Director of Clinical Education, Dr. Matson also is responsible for placing all students for their Clinical Education Experiences throughout the curriculum.
In addition to her teaching appointment, Dr. Matson maintains an active clinical practice in the in the outpatient clinic at UTMC, located on the Health Science Campus of the University of Toledo.
