Dr. Neyland-Brown (Dr. NB) is a three time alumna of the University of Toledo where she earned a B.A. in English, B.E. in Adolescent and Young Adult Education, M.A. in Counseling, and a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision. Dr. NB is a Licensed Professional School Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Ohio. Her areas of research include professional issues in school counseling, the mental health needs of students, supervision in counseling, and the importance of holistic wellness. Dr. NB has presented both regionally and nationally, co-authored book chapters, and has published peer reviewed articles in the Journal of School Counseling, Journal of Counselor Practice and Journal of Counselor Preparation and Supervision. Her last faculty appointment was at Wright State University where she served as an associate professor of counseling, the director of the school counseling graduate program and chair of the department of Human Services. Dr. NB has had a fulfilling tenure in Counselor Education and is excited to return home to Northwest Ohio and re-launch as a UT Rocket.
