Bio
Dr. McLoughlin is an exercise physiologist with research interests focused on investigating
the molecular regulation of skeletal muscle growth with changes in physical activity.
His lab is currently engaged in research projects centered on determining the role
of the forkhead protein, FoxO1, in regulating protein synthesis and ribosomal function
during skeletal muscle hypertrophic stimulus.
