Master of Clinical Research
The University of Toledo's Master of Clinical Research degree is a 31-credit program that brings together the university's clinical care expertise and research excellence. It can be completed in three semesters full-time, or over three to four years if part-time.
Sponsored by the UToledo Department of Surgery, the program is open to all clinical specialties including nursing and physician assistant students. The program is also open to residents and physicians of all specialties.
"We want to help create healthcare leaders for the future," said program director Dr. Munier Nazzal, Vice Chair of Education and Research for the Department of Surgery. "Those who complete the program will be prepared to become academicians in their respective field."
The program's goal is to help students and healthcare workers enter academic medicine and clinical research.

The University of Toledo is located in Toledo, Ohio, which is in a scenic area of northwest Ohio and is within easy driving distance of three major metropolitan areas: Detroit (60 miles), Cleveland (110 miles) and Chicago (294 miles).

The Master of Clinical Research program enjoys the contributions of the expert faculty at UToledo and the greater Toledo area including basic scientists, physicians, and other healthcare practitioners.
