Scholarly Pathway: Medical Education

Purpose

The aim of the Scholarly Pathway of Excellence in Medical Education is to provide students with a longitudinal, curricular focus on teaching and mentoring skills which can be used in pursuing careers in academic medicine. Students will develop a strong background to prepare for teaching during residency, allowing them to excel in training programs that include educational components or tracks, and positioning them for future selection to faculty-level positions.
