The University of Toledo is thrilled to once again partner with The Ohio Academy of Science (OAS) to host Regional Science Day (RSD). This prestigious event is governed by the Junior Academy Council of the Ohio Academy of Science and allows for students in grades 5-12 in schools of Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky, Williams and Wood counties, to showcase their research efforts and compete for best ratings and awards. Student who earn a superior rating by the judges will be eligible to compete in the State Science Day Fair. |

Regional Science Day at the University of Toledo

The Junior Academy Council of the Ohio Academy of Science (OAS) governs Regional Science Day. The OAS is a nonprofit organization founded to stimulate interest in the sciences, to promote research, to improve instruction in the sciences, to disseminate scientific knowledge and to recognize high achievements in attaining these objectives.
The UToledo RSD Council, chaired by Dr. Marc Seigar from The University of Toledo, organizes this important event.
