The University of Toledo and the Cell Architecture and Dynamics (CAD) Area of Excellence group invite you to its inaugural summit showcasing cutting-edge research in cell biology and translational cell biology. The main objective of the summit is to foster better collaborations and introduce the emerging microscopy technique and its application in this area. Researchers from Toledo and surrounding areas will be presenting.

Cellular Architecture and Dynamics Summit Research Conference: (Graduate, Undergraduate, Scientists and Researchers)

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Martin Chalfie, Nobel Prize in Chemistry (2008) for the development of green fluorescent protein (GFP) technology that has revolutionized cell biology.


An action-driven schedule aimed at showcasing the research achievements of CAD researchers at the University of Toledo, fostering collaborations and education. Invited speakers include: Dr. Don Cleveland, Member of the National Academy of Sciences, Chair of the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine at UCSD; Dr. Kristen Verhey, Professor of Cell and Developmental Biology and Professor of Biophysics at University of Michigan; and Dr. Gregory Pazour, Professor, University of Massachusetts Medical School, a fellow of the American Society for Cell Biology. The symposium will feature an outstanding lineup of local speakers, interactive sessions, poster presentations and a vendor exhibit.
