Office of Finance

The primary purpose of the Finance area is to serve the educational mission of the institution by helping to plan, direct, monitor and coordinate the financial and accounting activities of the university in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, federal/state regulations, university policies and guidelines, and sound business practices.

Finance works strategically and collaboratively to enhance the university's financial strength through analysis, innovative ideas, cost-effective approaches, high quality budgeting and monitoring, accurate accounting and tax compliance, and useful reporting for decision-making.

The areas of Financial Planning, Analysis & Budget, Supply Chain/Purchasing, Treasurer/Student Accounts and Controller report to the Associate Vice President of Finance.  The Controller area includes the functions of Accounts Payable, Accounting & Reporting, Grants Accounting and Payroll.
