Office of New Student Orientation Programs

To Register for Orientation

Before You Register

Have the following information available before you access your orientation registration to make the process go as smoothly as possible:

  • Your calendar to select an orientation program that fits your schedule
  • Information for any guests (for on-campus programs).
    • Be sure to provide accurate contact information for any registered guests! All communications will be sent to the email addresses provided.
    • Guests are required to pay for their own lunch during orientation.
  • Any unofficial transcripts for College Credit Plus courses or AP test scores (if applicable)

How to Register

1. Log in to your New Rocket Portal

    • You should be emailed a direct link to register for orientation without having to log in. Search the email you applied with for an email with the subject "Register for Orientation."
    • If you do not have the email, click the link above and log in using your application email address and password - not your myUT log on. If you need assistance logging in, contact your Admissions counselor.

2. Under the "Next Steps," tab if orientation registration is available to you, you would see "Orientation Registration" as a checklist item. Click this item.

3. You should see a calendar of dates to register for orientation. Select the date that fits your schedule and click "Complete Registration."

4.  Check the box to confirm your date and fill out the entire form, including the contact information for any guests, if applicable.

5. Click "Submit Orientation Registration."

6. Submit your reservation: You will know you’ve submitted it properly when you receive a confirmation email to the email address you listed in the reservation system. We strongly recommend that this be your Rockets email account since it is the way all University business will be communicated to you and do NOT use a high school email that will be deleted before your orientation session. You can check your inbox at rockets.utoledo.edu.
