Rocket Card

In order to obtain a Rocket Card (Student ID), students must upload their own photo. Below are the steps for photo submission and photo requirements. If you are coming to campus for orientation, you should try to submit your photo at least one day before your orientation, in order to pick up your Rocket Card the same day. 

Photo requirements

  • Photo must be free of anything covering your face (other than for religious purposes)
  • Photo must be of your full face
  • Photo must be of you by yourself
  • Photo must be unedited and free of filters

Steps for photo submission

1) You must activate your myUT (UTAD) account first, and you will be able to submit your photo 24 hours after you have activated your account. You should only submit your photo one time if you plan on attending UToledo, as you will be responsible for a $35 fee for the card when you submit your photo.

2) Visit idupload.utoledo.edu and log in using your UTAD and password. Verify that your information is correct, and select the ID Pickup location as Main Campus. Click on the Upload Your Photo blue button and follow the steps for photo submission.
