Terms of Service Agreement – Rocket Card and Mobile Credentials
Use and Ownership
The physical ID and Mobile ID are issued to you (the Cardholder) to provide access as a member and cardholder of The University of Toledo (UToledo) community under the following terms and conditions of use. Please read all terms, as these constitute legal obligations between (Cardholder) and The University of Toledo (UToledo). Upon your first use of either your physical ID (Rocket Card) or the Mobile ID (Rocket Mobile ID), you are accepting the terms and conditions of the UToledo Rocket Card Program. The Rocket Card office and UToledo are not responsible for financial transactions nor door access use.

- Neither the Rocket Card nor the Mobile ID should be accessed by anyone other than the intended cardholder.
- Unauthorized use, alteration or duplication may warrant confiscation of the Rocket Card by Dining staff, deactivation of the Rocket Card and Mobile ID and/or disciplinary action by the Office of Student Conduct.
Access Assignment
The University of Toledo (UToledo) will assign door access, meal plans and excess financial aid to the card holder’s profile as appropriate. Student access will be assigned at the beginning of the semester and removed on the last day of finals week. Staff will receive access specific to their department, upon written request from their supervisor. Staff access will expire upon separation from the university.
Security Responsibility
Each cardholder is responsible for ensuring the security and proper use of their Rocket Card and/or Mobile ID. Neither the Rocket Card nor the Mobile ID are transferrable and should never be lent to others. Use of the Rocket ID or Mobile ID by anyone other than the Cardholder, as well as tampering or alteration of the Rocket Card/Mobile ID, will warrant cancellation of the Rocket Card/Mobile ID and/or disciplinary action via Student Conduct. Please review The University of Toledo Student Code of Conduct policy.
Cardholder will be held responsible for any unauthorized access by individuals not assigned to the ID that was used.
Lost or Stolen ID
The Cardholder is responsible for immediately deactivating any lost or stolen Rocket Card or Mobile ID. The Cardholder will need to log in online at https://rocketcardplus.utoledo.edu where they will enter their UTAD and password, then click on “Freeze Card” for the appropriate lost item.
Changes to Terms
Future changes to terms and conditions regulating use of the Rocket Card and Mobile ID will apply to all IDs in circulation and use at the time and will supersede the terms and conditions in effect at the time the Rocket Card and Mobile ID were acquired. UToledo reserves the right to change any of the aforementioned policies without notice.
