Rocket Senior Class Gift
Start Your Rocket Legacy!
The University of Toledo is excited to continue the Rocket Senior Class Gift program. This gives graduating seniors the opportunity to promote a culture of philanthropy and give back to the university in areas they are passionate about. Students can designate their gift to any area that has positively influenced their education at UToledo.
While donations can be made to any area, our key priority funds are the Division of Student Affairs Fund, the Alumni Engagement Fund, and the University Libraries Progress Fund.
- Division of Student Affairs Fund assists with needs, programs, and activities within the Division of Student Affairs.
- Alumni Engagement Fund provides funding for alumni events, programs, and activities throughout the U.S. and abroad.
- University Libraries Progress Fund supports broad library initiatives, programming, and facilities.
All gifts make an impact in the lives of UToledo students and alumni.
Seniors who donate $20.25 in honor of their class year will receive the following:
- Recognition: A philanthropy cord to wear during commencement.
- The ability to honor someone: You can make your gift in honor of someone who impacted your UToledo experience--a friend, professor, coach, staff member, alumnus, etc. After you make your gift, there is the option to enter information for someone you wish to honor and provide your comments. The Division of Student Affairs will send a letter to the person, letting them know you have made a gift in their honor. You can make more than one donation of $20.25 if you have more than one person you would like to honor.
The Rocket Senior Class Gift campaign for spring 2025 graduates will begin on Friday, February 14, and conclude on Friday, April 25.
Student Organization Crowdfunding
Student organization crowdfunding is a great way for some student organizations to fundraise. For student organizations who have a fund within the UT Foundation, an online giving form or crowdfunding page can be set up to collect donations for that fund.
Why use these fundraising methods?
• Dollars raised go directly into your organization’s fund
• University-sanctioned method
• Provided a link and QR code for sharing digitally or in print materials
• Opportunity to promote your fund and gain new donors
• Easy donation method to share with potential donors and alumni
To get started, fill out the intake form and you will be contacted by the Annual Giving team.
