Come meet the team in the Center for International Studies and Programs and learn how your student can have an international experience (both overseas or here in Toledo) while studying on campus. Make sure also to get information about the various study abroad locations that are available to UToledo students!

The Division of Student Affairs and University leaders are excited to welcome you to Rocket Family Weekend 2025! During check-in you will be able to pick-up your Rocket Family Weekend bundle including: t-shirts (preordered), family weekend wristbands, schedule of events, and various photo opportunities. We will have representatives from our Athletic Ticketing office present to answer any questions you might have related to your football tickets. 

If you forgot to register in advance, don't worry we can still assist you so you and your family can have an enjoyable weekend celebrating the Rocket experience! 

Rocky's Friday Night Bash

Time: 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. 
Flatlands

The Rocket Family Weekend kickoff will include a live band and music from WXUT, a bonfire, yard games, and numerous food trucks from the City of Toledo for your family to enjoy. Each Rocket Family Weekend package will include a total of 10 Rocky Bucks to utilize at the food trucks for the night. 

Make sure to grab your family photo with our mascots Rocky and Rocksy or members of our spirit squad, Blue Crew!

Family Weekend Morning Run

Time: 10 a.m.
Flatlands, near the Spirit Rock

Start your morning off with a morning run around our beautiful campus with members from the Recreational Running Club! 

Canvas and Paint 

Time: 10 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. 
Student Union, Ingman Room 

Show off your artistic talents with a fun morning painting session. We will provide you with a mini canvas and the paint so you can show off your Rocket Spirit! Enjoy a warm cup of coffee or tea and donuts while you're painting.

Rocket Family Weekend Tailgate

Time: 12 p.m. - 3 p.m. 
Flatlands (Rain Location: Lancelot Thompson Student Union)

Get excited for game day in Rocket Nation as the UToledo Rockets take on Morgan State University. Enjoy the annual tradition of the Rocket Family Weekend Tailgate that includes good food, music provided by WXUT, and fun activities. Engage with families from all over. 

Make sure to grab a picture with Rocky and Rocksy or one of the many members of Blue Crew as you show off your Rocket Spirit! 

UToledo Rockets vs. Morgan State University

Rocket Family Weekend Bingo!

Enjoy an evening of Bingo as we continue to celebrate Rocket Family Weekend. Test your skills and win some great prizes. 

While you follow along with the Bingo caller, dig in on your custom-made ice cream sundae! 

Rocket Family Weekend Sendoff

Time: 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. 
Student Union, Auditorium 

Join us as we say goodbye and send our families home after a fun-filled weekend together. We will be serving a brunch with coffee and juice and hear from university leadership.

Enjoy a relaxing Sunday wandering around the Toledo Zoo and Aquarium. With over 10,000 animals, representing over 720 difference species there is something for everyone. Make sure to stop by the Polar Bear exhibit and meet the two newest members of the Toledo Zoo family, Kallik and Kallu. 

Tickets are not included as part of the Rocket Family Weekend bundle, but can be purchased at the Toledo Zoo & Aquarium website. 

Student Recreation Center Pass

• Friday: 6 a.m. - 8 p.m. 
• Saturday & Sunday: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. 

Need a place to work out or just kill some energy while you are here on campus visiting your Rocket? Take an opportunity to visit our Student Recreation Center where they have everything you need for your workout, or take a chance on the rock climbing wall.
