The objective of the Air Force Reserve Officers' Training Corps (AFROTC) program is to “Develop Air Force Leaders and Citizens of Character to Serve the Nation.” AFROTC is also nationally recognized by universities and employers alike as a highly successful leadership program.

AFROTC is a three to four year program conducted in cooperation with Bowling Green State University. The classes are taught on the BGSU campus once a week. Also, three morning physical fitness sessions are held weekly at the UT recreation center for UT students.
