The Use of Parental Information for UT Health Science Campus-Administered Funds
The UT Health Science Campus recognizes that most students would rather not request additional monies from parents to contribute toward their medical education. However, the institution does not have sufficient funds to meet the financial need of all eligible students. Therefore, the policy to require parental data in order to be considered for UT Health Science Campus-administered funds is intended to provide assistance to students with the least potential access to any financial resources. The following programs require parental data in order to receive consideration for funds:Federal Perkins Loan
Primary Care Loan (PCL)
Loans for Disadvantaged Students (LDS)
Scholarships for Disadvantaged Students (SDS)
