The University of Toledo (UToledo) online and on-campus programs leading to licensure and/or advanced practice certification/endorsement satisfy the academic requirements for those credentials set forth by the State of Ohio.

Requirements for licensure and/or advanced practice certification/endorsement eligibility vary from one profession to another and from state to state.

If you wish to practice in a state other than Ohio, contact the program director/advisor to discuss if you will need to satisfy additional requirements in that state.

The baccalaureate degree program in nursing, master's degree program in nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice program and post-graduate APRN certificate program at the University of Toledo are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

PUBLIC NOTICE OF CCNE ACCREDITATION VISIT

The University of Toledo College of Nursing is seeking accreditation of our BSN degree program by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The CCNE site visitors will be on campus from March 11-13, 2024. In accordance with the CCNE procedures for accreditation, the Commission provides the opportunity for program constituents and CCNE constituencies to submit, in writing, third-party comments concerning a program’s qualifications for accreditation status. Written third-party comments will be received by CCNE until 21 days before the scheduled on-site evaluation. Third-party comments must be received at the CCNE offices by February 18, 2024 and must be signed. Comments are shared only with the CCNE evaluation team appointed to review the baccalaureate nursing program but at no time during the review process are these comments shared with the program.
