New for Summer 2027, the UToledo School of Nursing is expanding its graduate program offerings with the Doctor of Nursing Practice Nurse Anesthesia program. Through advanced clinical education, immersive simulation and hands-on learning, The program prepares future certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNA) while helping address a critical healthcare workforce need in northwest Ohio.

Doctor of Nursing Practice (D.N.P.)

Our online D.N.P. programs prepare nurses for the highest level of clinical practice and healthcare leadership.

Doctor of Nursing Practice Nurse Anesthesia (D.N.P.-N.A.) Program

The Doctor of Nursing Practice Nurse Anesthesia program prepares experienced registered nurses to become certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) and provide advanced anesthesia care.

Through rigorous doctoral-level coursework, immersive simulation and extensive clinical experiences, students build the knowledge and skills needed to practice as CRNAs in a variety of healthcare settings. The hybrid program combines advanced clinical preparation with the leadership and practice expertise of a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree.
