Latino Culture Summit
Are you curious about UToledo's Latino culture and community? Join us at our annual Latino Culture Summit.
Attendees will talk to academic colleges and programs, speak to student organizations and interact with current students, faculty and staff. This event is open to high schoolers in grades 9-12.
Our focus: To introduce you to the opportunities UToledo can offer you.
- Hands-on activities with UToledo Latino faculty, staff and students
- A panel with current UToledo students who share their experiences as Latino students on campus
- A resource fair with information about our majors, student organizations, scholarships and more
- Lunch will be served
Have you attended a Latino Culture Summit already? Come again! Our activities and presentations change by grade level each year.
Event Scholarship Details
The President’s Summit Award Scholarship is a four-year scholarship that is presented each year at the Latino Culture Summit to 10 UToledo freshman. If you have not already you can apply by February 20, 2026 in our scholarship portal.
How do students qualify?
- They must attend the Latino Culture Summit your senior year.
- They must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA and fill out the scholarship application after they’ve been admitted to UToledo.

23rd Annual Latino Culture Summit
Hundreds of high school students from grades 9 to 12 join us to learn more about all that UToledo has to offer.

9:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Lancelot Thompson Student Union Auditorium
Registration deadline: March 27, 2026 or until we reach capacity.
School groups are welcome. If you are coming on your own, you must be accompanied by an adult.
9th grade students are required to also complete a signed liability waiver.
