How to Purchase a Parking Permit
You can purchase a student permit for the semester or academic year in your myUT portal. Under the STUDENT tab, find MY TOOLKIT, then Request/Update Parking Permit.

Important Tips
- You can have several vehicles on one permit, but only one vehicle is allowed on campus at a time.
- If you get a new vehicle and/or license plate, update the information in the parking portal.
- Pay attention to the signs at the entrance to each parking lot. They tell you which permits are allowed to park there.
- Pay attention to emails about which lots are closed for special events or construction.
- Check your emails often to make sure you haven't been issued a ticket. You will not receive a ticket on your car.
- If you have a student permit, do not park in designated handicapped spaces or in lots that require purchase of a pass at a kiosk.
