A practicum is a supervised practical experience within a desired student affairs or academic affairs office on The University of Toledo campus or another college campus.

Culminating Portfolio and Presentation

Students will submit a final electronic portfolio in the semester they are due to graduate. The portfolio will be an ongoing project from the start of the program to its completion and is not tied to a single course.

  • e-Portfolio: Students will submit artifacts of their learning experiences via Blackboard throughout their time in the program. These artifacts will come from coursework and may be supplemented with materials from a practicum or internship.
  • Virtual Presentation: Once the e-portfolio is complete, the student will present to the faculty as an opportunity to reflect on their learning and how they will apply their learning in a practical way post-graduation.
