Higher Education Program

Course Requirements for the Online Master's Program in Higher Education

This 30 credit-hour, online master’s program in Higher Education has rolling admissions. Students may begin the program in either the fall or spring semester. Most courses are seven weeks in length, with some courses spanning 15 weeks. Each semester, at least one course is offered in the first seven weeks of the semester and one course is offered in the last seven weeks of the semester.

The program can be completed in as little as two years.

  • e-Portfolio: Students will submit artifacts of their learning experiences via Blackboard throughout their time in the program. These artifacts will come from coursework and may be supplemented with materials from a practicum or internship.
  • Virtual Presentation: Once the e-portfolio is complete, the student will present to the faculty as an opportunity to reflect on their learning and how they will apply their learning in a practical way post-graduation.
