Biography

Prior to joining the University of Toledo in June 2019, Dr. Haghshenas was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of North Dakota. Before that, Dr. Haghshenas was a post-doctoral fellow (PDF) at the University of Waterloo (Canada) and a process engineer in Linamar Corporation, a Canadian manufacturing company that operates worldwide. His research background is in small scale characterization of materials, fatigue and fracture mechanics, additive manufacturing, and mechanical behavior of materials. He has taught various courses including “Fatigue and Fracture”, “Manufacturing Processes”, “Advanced Manufacturing”, and “Additive Manufacturing”.
