Engineering Living Learning Community

In addition to an academic program that fosters learning, discovery, and engagement, engineering students will have priority access to Honors Academic Village (HAV), the newest housing facility on the UToledo campus and home to the College of Engineering Living Learning Communityyoung women in tshirts under a canopy creating tie dye shirts (LLC). The Engineering LLC at HAV provides a modern academic community where students dedicated to their academic mission work towards success.  Together, we provide a support network for students to achieve their goals and enjoy the college experience.

Students living in the Engineering LLC develop an academic-centered community and will benefit from special programming and social events to enhance their focus. As a member of the community, you will have the opportunity to live with students taking many of the same business classes and attending the same college functions.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Enrolled in a major within the College of Engineering.
  • Live in Honors Academic Village - (or can they pay the Toledo Cultural Package price and be included?)
  • Additional $50 programming fee applied to housing bill per semester. 

HOW TO APPLY

  • Select the Engineering Living Learning Community on the "Specialized Community Selection" page of your University Housing Application as a preference and agree to terms.
  • When you go in to select a room, spaces within this community will now appear in addition to all general rooms not specific to any communities.
  •  Honors Academic Village is run by a private company , not The University of Toledo, so a signed a contract is required to lease.
