GET READY TO REGISTER

New undergraduate and transfer students must complete orientation prior to registering for classes. New students complete the Rocket Launch program and transfer students participate in Rocket Transition, which can be completed online.

Continuing students are encouraged to contact their success coaches and academic advisors, who are available remotely through the remainder of the semester, in advance of their registration windows. They should review their financial aid status and ensure there are no holds on their account that would prevent them from registering.

Register for classes via the myUT portal. Students can choose the standard “Register/Drop/Withdraw Courses” link in the My Registration Steps section of the toolkit or try the new planning and registration tool recently launched, which is available under the “Plan Ahead and Register – New” link. The new registration tool is more user friendly to guide you through the class selection process and allows you to plan semesters in advance. Step-by-step instructions are available in the toolkit.
