Student eligibility requirements by program
In order to participate in an experiential learning rotation, students may be required to meet certain eligibility requirements including, but not limited to:
- Proof of vaccinations
- Physical exam
- Testing for communicable disease (i.e., tuberculosis)
- Safety/compliance training
- CPR certification
- Ohio BCI and/or FBI criminal background check and/or fingerprinting
Health appointments for students
Although students may choose to fulfill health requirements with their personal provider, another convenient option would be to book an appointment with one of the Student Medical Center locations.
Student background checks
- The University of Toledo Police Department offers background check and digital fingerprinting services by appointment. Students can learn more about this and book an appointment here:
CPR training courses
American Heart Association CPR and First Aid
Disclaimer: Before registering for CPR training, be sure to verify the type of course(s) required by your program. Some programs may provide certification courses to their own student cohorts as part of their typical program. If you are unsure, please check with your program faculty responsible for fieldwork/clinical placements.
