Dr. Saltzman is an epidemiologist and Associate Professor in the School of Population Health. She earned her Master of Public Health with a concentration in Public Health Genetics from the University of Michigan in 1998, and Ph.D. in epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2007. Her research interests are focused on environmental and genetic risk factors for chronic diseases. Dr. Saltzman is an instructor of epidemiology and biostatistics and provides epidemiologic and biostatistical support for students and faculty in the College of Health and Human Services, School of Nursing and College of Medicine and life sciences here at the University of Toledo.
