Adobe Home Personal PurchaseActive students, faculty and staff may purchase an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription for personal use for only $150 annually, providing a substantial discount off retail pricing. For personal purchases, visit software.utoledo.edu.
IT continually works to provide our employees and students with discounts and other services to facilitate their success, whether it’s at the University or at home. The current Adobe offer is an example of using the purchasing power of the state public Universities in order to secure highly discounted prices for the UToledo campus community.
Adobe Personal Purchase Installation Instructions
- Sign in to your Adobe account with the username of username@rockets.utoledo.edu (ex. jsmith23@rockets.utoledo.edu)
- It will redirect you to our UT login portal where you will sign in with your normal username and password
- In the Creative Cloud apps Catalog, click the Download button on the app you want to download. Your app will begin to download.
- On your desktop, double-click the downloaded file to launch the installer. On a Mac: The name of the downloaded file is _Installer.dmg. On a Windows PC: The name of the downloaded file is _Set-Up.exe.
- Once the installer window opens, sign in to your Adobe account with your username@rockets.utoledo.edu password if you’re not already signed in.
- Fill out the short questionnaire that opens on your screen and click Continue.
- Click Start Installing to install your app
Once installed, your app will launch automatically.

For personal purchases only who already have a separate contract not paid through The University of Toledo:
If you currently have an existing contract with Adobe, please contact them about cancelling your current contract. Explain that you will be participating in The University of Toledo's ETLA agreement, and ask to have your termination fee waived PRIOR to repurchasing with The University of Toledo.
