Community Engagement

Tax Education Outreach. Community Support. Economic Justice Teamwork

Tax Clinic Community Tabling

The Toledo Tax Controversy Clinic welcomes opportunities to engage meaningfully in the community, helping to build a society that promotes economic justice for all. The clinic offers educational presentations on a variety of tax topics to community groups and other support organizations.

The clinic works with other organizations to build a network of support for its clients. Clinic staff are grateful to meet with others to share what we do and, more importantly, learn what other organizations are doing in the community.

Volunteer Opportunities

The clinic invites attorneys, accountants, and enrolled agents to join our Pro Bono Panel and partner with us in expanding access to justice for low-income taxpayers. We welcome professionals at every stage of practice and with every level of tax experience.

For experienced practitioners, the Panel offers an opportunity to share valuable expertise, mentor future lawyers, and provide meaningful representation to underserved members of the community. Your knowledge and guidance can make an immediate and lasting difference in the lives of our clients.

For attorneys newer to tax controversy work, the Clinic provides an excellent opportunity to develop practical experience in a supportive and collaborative environment.
