Career Opportunities

Judge Advocate General (JAG) offices from many branches of the U.S. armed forces maintain a relationship with Toledo Law. They conduct on-campus interviews, offer informational sessions, and recruit our graduates. Many government agencies also give preferential treatment to veterans in their hiring practices.

Additionally, several of our alumni and faculty members are current or former officers of the JAG Corps or civil servants. Three of our tenure-track faculty, including Professors Gibbons, Rapp, and Strang, have served in the U.S. armed forces. Contact our Office of Professional Development (OPD) to tap into this network and learn how you can pursue a career in military law or the public sector.

Military Service Center

We also invite you to contact the UToledo Military Service Center with any questions you might have about tuition rates, tuition assistance, and benefits for veterans at the University.
