Assistant Dean for Admissions

After working in business management and solo practice, I returned to The University of Toledo College of Law in spring 2016 as the assistant director, spent time serving as director and interim assistant dean, and was named assistant dean in July 2022. I enjoy building and maintaining relationships with students while promoting my passion for diversity, inclusion and student wellness.

I am a licensed attorney in both Michigan and Ohio and practice in the areas of probate and estate planning. I am active in several bar associations, including the Toledo Bar Association, Toledo Women's Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

I received my B.A. magna cum laude in psychology from Lourdes University in 1998, followed by my J.D. from Toledo Law in 2012.

I am a 2019 graduate of Toledo Law, earning my J.D. with a concentration in criminal law, and I am admitted to practice law in Ohio. I returned to Toledo Law as assistant director of law admissions in November 2021. Prior to law school, I received a dual B.A., magna cum laude, in history and pre-law from the University of Findlay.

I have a passion for helping students prepare to embark on their legal careers. I was a student tour guide during law school, and it was always one of my favorite parts of the day to show a new student all that Toledo Law has to offer and share my love for the school. As a first-generation law student myself, I am committed to creating opportunity within the law.

I have over 20 years of experience with various positions in customer service, hospitalities, sales, event planning, office management, and sales & marketing. Top-notch client service has been the cornerstone of each position. I received my B.A. in communication studies with a marketing minor from Wright State University in 2004.

Working at the Toledo Law Admissions office has been my favorite job by far because of the truly fantastic, welcoming, and upbeat community at Toledo Law - and I'm honored to be a part of it. We all strive to provide prospective students with helpful information about the law school admissions process and to offer a great, supportive, and affordable legal education.
