UToledo Awards & Honors
Toledo Law alumni are recognized annually by the Law Alumni Affiliate and UToledo Alumni Association for specific awards based on outstanding accomplishments. In recent years, the Alumni Association has produced biographical videos honoring distinguished alumni. Click on linked names under each award to watch available recordings.
Law Alumni Affiliate Awards
Nominations are accepted throughout the year for most Law Alumni Affiliate Awards. The Distinguished Alumni Award is selected by the dean of the College of Law; other awards are selected by committee. If you know of a deserving graduate, send the graduate's name and the award for which you are submitting the nomination to Ansley Abrams-Frederick, director of alumni programming at the UToledo Alumni Association.
Distinguished Alumni Award
Presented to a Toledo Law graduate who demonstrates distinction in one's professional life. Selected by the dean of the law school, these alumni are recognized at the University's annual Homecoming Gala.

Distinguished Toledo Lawyer Award
Presented to a lawyer with 15 years of practice in the Toledo area. The individual must be a role model and involved in the community, with a distinguished reputation and professional achievement. The awardee does not need to be a Toledo Law graduate to be eligible.
