Law Alumni Directory
Toledo Law launched an alumni directory project from 2020-21 in partnership with PCI
(also known as Publishing Concepts). During the year-long project, Toledo Law alumni
had the opportunity to reserve a digital and/or printed version of the directory,
as well as branded apparel. The directory offers a great way to connect with classmates,
grow your professional network, and refer business. Thank you to everyone who participated!

- I received an email/postcard/phone call from a company asking me to update my personal
information for an alumni directory for The University of Toledo College of Law. Is
this a legitimate project, or is it a scam?
It's legit! The University of Toledo College of Law has partnered with PCI to produce
our new Toledo Law Alumni Directory. PCI is a business based in Dallas that has published
directories for educational institutions, fraternities, sororities, and military organizations
across the nation for almost 100 years. This project will allow us to connect you
with each other through a directory product, available for purchase. The project will
also enable the college to make important updates to our alumni database to better
serve you.
- Does The University of Toledo College of Law benefit from this at all?
Yes. The College of Law benefits in the following ways:
- Updated Information – Allows us to communicate with and engage alumni more effectively
while supporting alumni networking
- Legacy – Documents and preserves the history of the law school
- Pride – Updating your information and wearing apparel, you will show support for and
pride in our law school.
- How will my information be used?
PCI is committed to protecting your information. The names, addresses, and information
provided to PCI for the publication of the Toledo Law Alumni Directory will be held
confidential by PCI, except to the extent they are utilized in, or in the preparation
of, the directory; and shared with The University of Toledo College of Law and UT
Foundation; and except as required by court order or law. Upon completing the project,
PCI will redact PII (Personal Identifiable Information) from all electronic files
that we have supplied or were produced by PCI in connection with the directory production.
- I would like to verify or update my information. How may I do this?
- If you received a postcard or an email with a telephone number, you may call the number
to speak with a representative for the Toledo Law Alumni Directory project. The representative
will verify the information we have on file for you and make any necessary updates
to your record.
- If you received an email with an embedded link, simply click the link to go to the
online site to review your information.
- If you did not receive a postcard or email, call the dedicated Toledo Law update line at 1.866.558.6250.
- Can I choose what information prints in the directory?
When you call to update your information, you can tell the representative if you prefer
any of your information be excluded. You can also communicate your preferences to
PCI's customer service helpdesk at 1.800.982.1590 / customerservice@publishingconcepts.com.
- Can anyone purchase a directory?
The Toledo Law Alumni Directory is available for sale only to alumni of The University
of Toledo College of Law.
- When will I receive my directory?
The total duration of the directory project is approximately 12 months. Since we are
beginning the project in October 2020, the directories will be distributed October
2021 or later.
- I ordered a directory/package over the phone and would like to cancel my order. How
do I do this?
- Does any of the money go to the College of Law?
Money from the sale of the directories or logo items does not go to the College of
Law; however, the proceeds from the sale of the products helps to financially support
the project.
- What items are available for purchase?
You will have the opportunity to purchase a printed and/or digital directory, as well
as a t-shirt/sweatshirt set and weekender travel bag with the Toledo Law logo. All
items are available for sale individually as well as in packages at a savings.
- I'm not ready to purchase a directory now, but want to know when the next directory
update will be offered in the future?
This is a sizeable project and won't happen again for many years. Before this update,
our last directory update was in 2009. Therefore, we anticipate the next directory
project may take place between 5-10 years out.
- Am I able to update my information without purchasing a directory?
Yes. We encourage all Toledo Law alumni to participate, so we have your updated information.
A directory purchase is not required.
